Mountain Vista Competition 11/22
Our competition on Saturday is located at Mountain Vista High School. The doors will open at 9:00am for spectators. I would like for JV to arrive at 9:15 am. The cost to get in is $5 person, there will be concessions running this weekend. You will be able to enter through the main doors of the school, and then take the stairs right after those doors down into the commons and gym.

Centennial League Cheer Competition! 11/10
We are asking that all athletes within the program report to the gyms immediately after school to help set up. If everyone chips in, we can set up quickly and then allow the girls to have some time to go home and get ready before reporting to the school once again. I am asking that JV athletes return to the school by 5:00 pm competition ready, meeting at the theater entrance.
Details:
1.) Competitors and coaches should park in the South parking lot (Front Parking Lot closest to the theater and main entrance). NO spectators will be able to enter through this entrance, only teams.
2.) Spectator parking:
A. Front West parking lot (front athletic doors):
Supporters of Eaglecrest, Arapahoe, Mullen, or Smoky Hill
B. Back East parking lot:
Supporters of Cherokee Trail, Cherry Creek, Grandview, or Overland

Wednesday: Twin Day, dress up with a friend
Thursday: Disney Day, dress Disney themed (bring uniform, shoes, bow, etc. to school to change into for the parade)
Friday: EHS spirit day, wear uniform and cheer shoes to school (you will perform the fight song at the assembly)

Online Athletic Registration is open! Please visit the following site to complete your athletic registration by Friday August 8th. Your $90 athletic fee is due to the athletics office. This fee is not a part of fees associated with the cheer program. This fee must be paid directly to the school. Physicals were collected during the tryout process but your athletic registration was not completed.

Please complete these workouts each week of July. Record the amount of time it takes for workouts that have a * next to them. You will be turning your times in on August 4th, so try to keep your records on one piece of paper. Enjoy your break!

20 v-ups, 10 side v-up, 10 tuck jumps, 10 toe touches, 10 hollow rocks, 10 flutters, 10 scissors, 10 sec. hollow hold
Day 4: 5 Rounds for time:*
5 pushups, 10 arm circles, 5 burpees, 30 sec plank

Camp Send Off

Please follow the steps below to ensure that you are ready to go before the first class. If the paper work and online registration is not complete the athlete will not be allowed to participate in the session. Step 3 states click on the 2013-2014 season, please proceed even though it does not say "2014-2015" the location and classes in the drop downs following Step 3 have been updated and will get you signed up correctly.

Athlete/Parent Meeting
Welcome to the Junior Varsity 2014-2015 cheer team! I am excited to get started and begin working towards new goals this year! We will begin the season with a mandatory athlete/parent meeting on Tuesday, April 15th. Your yard sign and car sticker form will be due that night as well. If you wish to purchase these items, please have your completed form and check made to EHS. Pre season clinics will begin Wednesday, April 16th, we will discuss clinic times at the meeting.

1. Most Spirited: This teammate understands the importance of school spirit and always seized the opportunity to demonstrate her passion for our school.
2. Most Inspirational: This teammate inspired our team the entire year to push towards our team goals. She inspired us through positive words and by her actions.
3. Most Dedicated: This teammate always put her team first. Eaglecrest cheerleading is her passion and she demonstrated this through her words and actions.
4. The RAPTOR Award: This teammate is someone who demonstrates "The Raptor Way". She makes good decisions inside and outside of cheerleading. She is someone who has a passion for the Eaglecrest Cheerleading Program. She is someone that the season would not have been the same without.
5. Most Improved: The teammate who has improved the most over the past year and has worked hard to better her team.
